krist 0 Posted December 9, 2016 Hi, everyone. Our CCTV screen shows that it need to format the hard drive to record. When I tried to log in, and enter the default login and password, I could not do it. I don't know the password. The person in charge for the CCTV has left our company 3 months ago and we could not contact him. Is there any way to reset the password? alanduy1 0 Posted December 15, 2016 if u took over a system from another owner and do not know use and password. U need to call the alarm company and they can call the maufacturer and reset with mac address below or behind DVR. its security measure. If u are the owner. krist 0 Posted December 29, 2016 We do not use alarm company and it's not familiar in my country. The CCTV system was installed by contractor 4 years ago. I've talked to the technician but the problem is my boss don;t want to add cost for it, instead he want to upgrade to a new system for next year budgeting.
