jmooreou 0 Posted December 9, 2016 I just purchased a used Sanyo DSR-3009 to use with my astronomy activities. I need to reset the main password. Every time I push the MENU button, I am challenged to enter the password which obviously I do not have. So how does one go about doing a complete system reset (including passwords) on a Sanyo DSR-3009? There is an "ALL RESET" button on the back, but that does not eliminate the password requirement. Any help would be much appreciated. The new 160 GB disk was delivered today and once I installed the new disk and removed the old one the system no longer required a password, so I am good to go...
