gnikoli 0 Posted December 9, 2016 I am afraid I need some hand holding on this project. I would like to turn on exterior lights (120VAC) with the alarm output from Hik DS-2CD2532F-IS. I have read through the post related to opto isolator and 12V siren, and that seems like the direction I need to head, but I want to switch 120VAC as if the camera's alarm was replacing a PIR motion sensor. Is that possible with this: https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Opto-isolator-1-Channel-Module-Expansion/dp/B00O9YPGD4? Not clear on connections. Is my schematic correct? Does the alarm latch?
