Hikvision Discontinuing DDNS Online Service

Those of you using Hikvision or thinking about Hikvision you might want to review this as this will turn into a pain to switch to a new DDNS service. Not you mention the Chinse Government ownership I would recommend looking at another solution besides Hikvision.

Just to add more problems ..... Hik has not ran the ddns side for a few months. It's has been run by

HICHINA ZHICHENG TECHNOLOGY LTD..

 

And managed by Amazon for USA and Europe

I don't use Hik but I have a 9.99 a year Dyndns account that allows me to do 5 dynamic IP sites and I just enter my account info in the router and rock on.
