WARNING: HikVision firmware V5.4.3 build 160613

I have 2 x HikVision DS-2DE4220IW-D IP cameras. One of them has firmware V5.4.3 build 160613 installed and keeps on crashing. When it crashes the only way to access it is via ssh. All other service (web etc) have stopped.

 

Running dmesg reveals the following:

So it looks like this firmware has a memory leak. When HikVision put this firmware on their website my advice it DO NOT INSTALL IT.

 

I have informed HikVision of this via their UK support email address but haven't heard anything back yet.
