bmw1999m3 0 Posted December 25, 2016 Hello, I have a KKMoon DVR. I've figured out how to access it from my computer using a browser, but I am having trouble accessing it from a smart phone. Anyone have experience with this? The web interface they use requires an Active-X plugin which I don't like. Even when I want to view it on a PC, there's a first-time setup I have to run through to install the plugin. Is it possible to install any aftermarket software on this box to provide a more compatible and friendly interface? I would like to access the DVR streams on computers and smart phones without installing a bunch of plugins and stuff. If I could simply open it up in any browser without addons, apps, or plugins, that would be ideal. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. PS: Software version I have is V4.02.R11.06122114.10001.130600 Build Date: 09-30-2015

I have that exact DVR myself, kKmoon TP-DVR128 (S386B-US) When using a Windows PC you do not have to use the ActiveX plugin, with Windows 10 or even eight or seven it's actually a bit of a pain in the ass to get the ActiveX plug in to run anyway, as Chrome and edge won't support it but Internet explorer will. regardless I don't like using it either and on several Windows PCS I can connect to the DVR with I spy and CMS beta, just to mention a couple, I'm always tinkering with it like that.
