Gavin123 0 Posted December 31, 2016 Hello Forum, and Thank You for reading this. I have just bought and Installed this HIKVision DVR with 5 Cameras DS-7208HQHI-F1/N. I have 2 Monitors, One has an HDMI Input but it is my Main Computer, I would like to connected the DVR HDMI Input into my other Computer BUT it only has a Display port Input, I bought an HDMI To Displayport adapter, But it did not work (No Picture) I have now learned that I would need an Active or Maybe a passive adapter ??? I have been reading loads of stuff but still cant get a defenate awnser as to what exeactly the kind of adapter that would work. I have looked on Amazon but its all pretty confusing My Dell Monitor is a Dell UltraSharp U2412M Any help would be greatly appreciated as to what type of adapter that would go from an HDMI Output (Video source) to a Displayport Input (Monitor) Thank you Gavin Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
