CCTV Quality and Best cost effective VMS

Dears,

 

I am new to this CCTV field, looking for cost effective CCTV Camera and VMS solution.

 

Last few weeks we were testing Axis Cameras (P1427-LE, P1428-E, P3215-V etc.,) quality, which we are not satisfied.

Just purchased one AVTECH 2MP camera and compared with P1428-E 8.3MP, both are same quality even after checked with Axis technical team.

Please share your experience to get good quality.

 

We use Milestone Prof. version, but some of the feature like Archive to more than one location which is not available in this edition and suppose if need to use corporate edition, Lic cost is very high.

 

We contact Pelco, they committed that the VMS doesn't need any camera License and it accepts any leading brand cameras.

Hope we will do a comparison and share in this post.

my experience with avtech was zero tech support and would never use them. Test some geovision products as their 32 camera nvr is free and no license if you use their cameras. Not everyone likes geo but it is worth checking out. In my opinion check out the warranty, service and general reputation of the product and supplier is as important as the brand you finally choose.
