badping 0 Posted June 19, 2006 I'm clueless on this stuff. But, want to know. I have been looking around the net. But, being clueless. I think it is better to ask you guys. Say, that I wanted a Standalone DVR box an 2 IR cameras and I wanted to display it to a LCD monitor and to my TV in my house. What would I need? Do I need some kind of other box in between? I have see so many standalones..listing with VGA port or the other type of port. Don't know which to pick or how I could do this. Thanks
rapid 0 Posted June 19, 2006 The DVR you're looking for, should have a composite video output. Depending on what you choose, this output will be in the form of an RCA or BNC connector. RCA BNC RCA to BNC adaptor RF modulator If your TV has a yellow RCA video input, no problem (similiar input if you have a vcr or dvd ) and connect the two If you have an older set, you can buy the above RF modulator.....available from Future shop or other big box stores which will provide this video input.
