l0rd_hex 0 Posted January 8, 2017 Hey all, I have a unknown camera model I'm trying to hook up to a DVR (which uses BNC jacks). The inside of the dome assembly has an "Extreme CCTV" sticker and a model number of: WZ46ZN82VA2656WC which hasn't yielded any information on Google. The logic board of the camera has "Z200" on it as well. It seems to operate fine on 24V AC -- I can see the IR LEDs light up when I block the photosensor and I see a signal on the video output with my oscilloscope but when I connected the hookup to a BNC I got no signal whatsoever on the DVR (I'm 99% sure it was configured correctly). I've included a picture of the hookup below, it's just two wires, ground and signal I believe. Does anyone know how to convert this to BNC? Do I need a balun or something else? Thanks! the toss 0 Posted January 9, 2017 Are you sure the DVR is a worker. Try displaying on a TV via the video I/P. Baluns are used for impedance matching ( BALanced - UNbalanced ) and will not prevent "some" kind of signal being displayed
