Help with access control system

Hi

 

I have been asked to take over management of an access control system

 

Attached is the photo of the board, and all is working fine, except I have no way of managing it - there is a USB-485 interface for connection to a PC, but no software.

 

I need to add additional fobs to the system, and generally manage/secure the system - but do not have any software.

 

Can anyone advise what the system is, what software is needed, where I can get it. etc?

Hi. It's been a long time since I have seen one of those.

 

It looks like you are in the uk .. Looking at your picture.

 

Take over and maintain a system of this age is not worth it.

First you as the manager will have to bring it upto code

 

It is powered via ring main......not to code

 

Power cable runs over power transformer.....unsafe

 

Can't make out any fire control.

 

As far as software you could give ebbe a call but a system over 15 years old I don't think they will support.

 

What type of place is the access control used in ?

In the images, It's hard to describe that manage your USB-485 interface for connection to a PC and software. Although, I will suggest you go through on SATO LOck that provides access control system devices and software across the globe.
