MooseBoys 0 Posted January 22, 2017 Does anyone have any recommendations for hooking up sirens to Ethernet/WiFi? I am running Blue Iris and want to be able to trigger an audio alarm inside and outside the house. I have seen USB-connected relays but I am running Blue Iris in a VM and want to avoid host USB passthrough. That means TCP/IP control, but the all in one cards are way overpriced. I've also looked into smart outlets but they all seem to only connect to companion apps or Alexa, which rules out the PC script support that I'd need. My backup plan is to get a RPi and relay board and just make it myself, but if there is a cheaper option requiring less effort I'm all ears.
