agentstar 0 Posted January 29, 2017 i have bought new HIKVision i think it is DS 7208HGHI F1/N cctv dvr system. the camera and hdmi cable are connected. ethernet is not connected yet. I can see the screen it shows correct date and there is a small sq red icon on screen which means it is recording.. THE SCREEN IS LOCKED. i cant do anything at all. the usb mouse is not detected and the remote control is also not even showing light when i press any button on it. CANT GET MENU. I HAVE NOT DONE ANY SET UP PROCEDURES. i have received a paper saying software activation procedure by going to hikvison website and activate device v1.01_20150612 I HAVE NOT DONE THIS BECAUSE I HVAE NOT CONNECTED THE ETHERNET YET. agentstar 0 Posted January 29, 2017 its ok i have sorted it out. i had to switch off DVR and on again. we have to plug in the mouse FIRST then swiych on the DVR. The DVR does not recognise if you plug in mouse after switcjing on the DVR.. but now i have another q what is the orange triangle with exclamation ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
