GadgetAssistant 0 Posted January 31, 2017 Hello. It could be a hard disk issue. Make sure you are using the correct power adapter for the DVR. If the DVR has an internal power supply that may need to be checked in addition to checking the hard drive connections. Booting up the DVR without any cameras connected might help getting past the "please wait..." screen if the DVR's hard drive needs to be formatted. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
