Samsung SNP-3371 with Pelco 6800 Matrix

I replaced Pelco DD423 PTZ camera with Samsung snp 3371 camera. In Pelco PTZ, we used utp connection. In Samsung PTZ does not have Utp+- connection.

i ran new cat5 cable for RS-485 protocol. I connected t+- on Pelco 6800 and samsung R+-. I have video and the control did not work. I tried 2 days I could not find how to fix it. Thank advance !

I'm a little confused. That is an IP camera so I would assume PTZ functions can be controlled through IP.

If you want to do RS-485 how did you configure the dip switches for Protocol? (Pelco D) (Pelco P) (ASCII) and at what data rate? (4800, 9600,)

 

Also what address? All of that will have to match on the Pelco Controller.

They have Pelco kbd300a. 6800 does not have RS485 PTZ A or PTZ B. It does not support RS485 only support RS422 control setting only.

 

Samsung PTZ does not have UTP+- or PTZ a or PTZ b.
