Hikvision Turbo HD 3.0 DVR DS-7208HQHI-F1/N

I have just purchased a Hikvision Turbo HD 3.0 DVR DS-7208HQHI-F1/N & I have got everything set up fine but one problem, on playback if I use a monitor connected to the DVR I can playback up to X16 but on my PC it will only playback at normal speed & if I try to go any faster it freezes.

Any advice would be appreciated.
