Uvuvwevwevwe Ossas 0 Posted February 16, 2017 I want help in establishing a remote connection with my DVR and my other network ( my home ) I tried port forwarding all the ports 16000,1550 and 80 This is the network config of my router It's working with the same network when I type the IP, it works but it doesn't work when I try with other network ( IP:80) DDNS option doesn't provide anything so that's a no go. So is there anything am doing wrong ? Any suggestions ?
mattaggie 0 Posted February 17, 2017 From your home, you are using your public IP address correct? Not 192.168.1.192. That address will only work on the same network that DVR is on.

How to know the public ip ? I tried using 192.168.1.192:80 and other ports and it didnt work also tried 202.96.128.88 with different ports still same The DDNS option is no go since it doesn't have anything. Uvuvwevwevwe Ossas 0 Posted February 21, 2017 Hi. Go into accounts on dvr ..... Create a new one with full admin. Log out then log back with new user you created and then delete the others I tried it Changing passwords ... No avail Tired of this chinese generic bullcrap. The funny thing is I can I can login to the DVR directly with the same password but when I try to connect through computer it doesn't work on the same network( or oustide network) Also when I try to use the router's ip address on same network it doesn't work either
Netcelero 0 Posted June 30, 2017 Only the private IP address that you see in the screenshot will work within your network, unless you have a really good router with NAT reflection set up the public IP address ( the 202.96.128.88 ) won’t work from within your network only from outside.
