rdwebtech 0 Posted February 20, 2017 Hi, hello. I wanted to ask about solar powering for wireless ip cam. I searched already but did only find about 12/24 volt equipments. I use small IP cams from ebay. the adapter is an usb cable adapter with technical script: output 5V/1600 mA. The cams will be installed in Dominican Republic, so sun should be normally available between 6:30am to 6:30 pm on most days. I think one day covering should be enough. I wanted to try a solar power bank to charge phones, I found some with 2.1 A output, so should be enough over the day, but i dont know if it is enough for the night too.
