Vehicular IR Live Feed Long Range System

Greetings,

I'm new here and I have a question I hope someone can help with.

I am interested in making a portable live/real time long range IR camera/monitor screen system which I can mount on a golf cart for patrolling large dark parking lots.

 

I'd like it to reach out to 100 yards or so.

 

I'd add IR illuminator spots and flood lights to the roof to provide non-visible illumination.

 

I need advice on having a camera that can see out past 100 yards, and somehow connect to a screen for a real-time feed at (preferrably) 60 frames a second. Would Digital or analog be better for this?

 

Anyone know how to put a system like this together?
