jerjack1 0 Posted March 3, 2017 Hi, I am fairly new to camera systems, but I am an IT admin so I am familiar with networking and working with tech. That being said, I have a question about a monitor hooked to a Gen IV Technology system. There is a monitor hooked directly to the system via vga. There is also a monitor hooked to the system via a coax with bnc connectors. The old monitor died and we need to replace with a new one. However, finding one larger than a 22" seems to be quite difficult. Actually finding one at all doesn't seem to be an easy task. Is it possible to convert that bnc to vga or can I cut the end and put a twist on coax end and use the coax input on a tv? Any help is appreciated!
mattaggie 0 Posted March 4, 2017 what size monitor do you want? Why not just get a TV? It will have coaxial input.
