RT-2040 turns off and shows me error 04-000

This last couple of days my dvr avtech (http://www.rowantechnologies.com.mx/online/product/get/610) keeps reseting, first it sends a noise and the it turns off, when it turns on, it shows me the next error 04-000 and then the tv says that I need to check de vga cable and the computer signal configuration and/ or check the source.

Any idea what this error means. An hdd problem maybe?
