proevoking 0 Posted April 7, 2017 Hi, Im new to cctv wiring... There are some pre-existing cable in my home and im guessing it is RG59 cable... when i go to remove the old camera there is a power cable and another black wire that has been stripped and has the colours red black and yellow onto some connector which then connects to the old cctv camera. My question is... i want to install new HD cameras can i use the exisiting wiring for this... or would i need to get different adapters for this or would i have to rewire? Thanks

tomcctv 190 Posted April 8, 2017 Hi .... You said rg59 which is coax. It sounds like you have camera tail ..... Out of wall pull the tail and coax might show
