Curtis87 0 Posted April 8, 2017 Hello all, A few weeks ago, I noticed I was getting a flashing red light on my DVR indicating an issue with the HDD. Last week it became a solid red light on my DVR and no video output to my TV monitor. I was also unable to view cameras on my iPhone through the app. After some reading online, I made the decision to replace the hard drive. I purchased a WD Purple 3 TB drive, replacing a 2 TB purple, installed it and booted it up. I don't have a red light or any light for that matter for HDD, and I am still not getting a signal on my TV, so I can't see if the drive is being recognized. Any thoughts on how I should approach this? I appreciate any help you all can provide. I looked at the user manual and the lights I am describing done match up to the lights on the manual, see attached. Not sure what this is all about either.. everything was purchased new.
