Epcom TurboHD LB7 Camera Only black and white feed

Hello,

 

I just installed a brand new Epcom LB7turbo camera and the feed I get is black and white. I installed two other cameras (same make and model) without any issues. Not sure why this one is only providing a black and white feed during daytime and no color.

 

Can someone provide some suggestions please?

Hello. The camera thinks that there is insufficient light all the time so it is always in night vision mode. Try shining a flashlight into the camera's light sensor. Try an alternate power adapter for the camera or remove any other cameras from the adapter.

 

In short, the camera may have a faulty light sensor.

Thanks, you're right, the camera must have a faulty light sensor because I covered the lens with my hands for a few seconds and when I removed my hands it switched to color!

I'll try swapping out the camera and post the results.
