wallstreet123456 0 Posted April 12, 2017 I have an 8 camera CVI system at home and want to install a power supply box. I found two online one is 12V-5A the other is 12V- 10A which one of the two should I purchase? I am not sure what the difference in Amps would do. Thank ytou for your help. the toss 0 Posted April 12, 2017 As a general calculation you would assume each camera used would require 1amp. So 8 cameras = 8 amps So either of those supplies would be OK.
