YoshiMoshi 0 Posted April 17, 2017 Hi. I would like to set up four micro cameras in my car, one in each light compartment, meaning one in each forward light compartment in the front of the car, and one in each of the rear lights in the back of the car. I would like to use micro cameras so they can fit in the light compartment. I would like to have a display next to the drive of the car were images from the four cameras are merged into one in a quad image on the display. I'm not to familiar with cameras, but I see most have a audio and video out, and then some sort of red power cable out. How do I get this red cable out to a power bank that I have in my trunk? I'm planning on getting a large power to power the system. Most power banks have USB out for charging or AC plug if there's a DC to AC converter in the battery pack. What kind of image slitter do I need to take the audio and video from the four cameras, merge them into one, so that way I get one image on the display near the driver? How do I record the captured video and audio? I would like to have sort of USB out for recording so I can hook up a large hard drive so I can leave the system on while my car is parked and record up to around 12 hours of video. I already have large hard drives and have a 1 TB drive so I should be find. I'd like to record the one image or possibly the four separate. It does not really matter as long as I can record. I see systems with normal large cameras that will not work in a car, I want them micro to keep it discrete. Thanks for any help " title="Applause" /> ! the toss 0 Posted April 17, 2017 You can get DVR's designed for vehicular use (taxis , buses etc) at a reasonable price. This will give you everything you need , multi camera display , recording etc
