cannot play mp4 video format

I'm using Synology diskstation DS1515+ with my hikvision DVRs, the problem is I cant playback mp4 footagestored in the NAS,

tried to use klite codec, WMP, VLC , VS PLAYER and gom player , but in vain

Try installing Hikvision's media player filter so your Windows will "understand" Hikvision codecs.
