goodolick 0 Posted April 23, 2017 I got a shiny new Dahua PTZ to watch over my garage and driveway. Is it a bad practice to leave it on "tour" 24/7? Will it burn the motor out? Would I be better off setting an alarm to have it tour? Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
51cent 8 Posted April 23, 2017 The general opinion I have seen is don't leave it on tour. It may depend on your camera model too. Allegedly Dahua lite series PTZ's use cheaper materials in their contsruction.
