Need help choosing a replacement camera and set up

Hi,

 

so i have a 4 camera system set up and one of the cameras never operated since i bought the house(house camwe with system).

 

i changed the dvr successfully and realized the camera didn't work as it was dead. i checked the power and isntalled a cheaper temporary camera.

 

my system uses rg 59 cabled and 12v power. I was looking for newer cameras that i can move and zoom in through the app and maybe a motion sensor camera which moves hen motion is detected( if price isnt to high

 

now the newer cameras i find have cat5 connections. are these much better ot can someone tell me a camera that is great and will work with my current connections. i dont want to change the wiring to cat5 as it all runs within my walls. i believe i saw some connectors that will work make the cat5 work with rg59.

 

i will need domes in 3 of my 4 camera spots.

First please check which DVR system your are using. TVI/AHD/CVI or Analog. Then you can shop for cameras

You can use any TVI/AHD/960H Cameras up to 3mp on that dvr.
