midicam 0 Posted May 8, 2017 Hi, is it safe to keep your DVR/NVR running in the house constantly? I'm a bit worried about keeping items running in the house when I am away etc... I've installed mine in the loft where it has adequate ventilation. But I'm still worried about it running all the time. How do you run yours? Thanks

If there is a power failure i have a commercial grade battery back up that will keep my dvr and power to all 8 cameras running for 6-8 hours.
midicam 0 Posted May 8, 2017 Hi, I was more worried about the device overheating and catching fire while in the loft. I don't mind if the power to it fails because I can always restore that. Thanks
