Ben84 0 Posted May 9, 2017 Morning everyone, first post here ! I have a Dahua NVR-4108_8P_A which I have tried to upgrade the firmware (was recomended by Dahua after dropbox and emails were not working) Dahua themselves sent me the wrong firmware (1Mb file). I found the following firmwares on the Dahua site which I thought would be compatible with my NVR : DH_NVR41HS-W_Eng_P_V3.201.0000.0.R.20170325 DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_Eng_V3.212.0000.1.R.20170224 DH_NVR41-W_Eng_P_V3.202.0000.1.R.20170401 DH_NVR4xxx_Eng_P_V3.202.0000.1.R.20170321 Unfortunately I didn't look further and updated the NVR with the first one in the list above (V3.201), the result was that I lost all my cameras (unable to re-register them), and a lot of settings are missing (such as dropbox which is what I was doing the upgrade for), it kept the settings though and I could see my recorded videos. Since that I've digged deeper and found out that only the last firmware (V3.202) above is compatible with my NVR, I've tried everything (?) to upgrade it with that file but it always fails to upgrade. I am connecting remotely to the NVR, I was using the web interface initially, but I have also installed ConfigTools. I am able to reapply V3.201 but anything else fails. Does anyone has an idea what I need to do to get back something that works ? Original version : Current version : Thanks for your help
