love777 0 Posted May 30, 2017 Help. I hope that I am posting in the right forum. I have some really old Analog Q-See Cameras with a very old DVR. I want to say this is it: Q-See QR4074-426-2 7-Inch LCD Monitor with Built-in 4 Channel H.264 DVR I can check when i get home though. Anyhow I have the DVR IP and the IP for port forwarding on the router the same. I was able to see all cameras on my cellphone app made no changes at all and it stopped working. I checked and the IPs still match. I have it set to static. I am at a total loss was hoping to get some advice as if I can't get them to work then they are useless. I can see the cameras on my TV which is connected to the DVR via HDMI I cannot see the cameras on my computer when connected to wifi or my cell phone app on wifi - i can only see on the TV. thank you in Advance! GadgetAssistant 0 Posted May 31, 2017 Hello. Even though your DVR may have a static local IP address, your ISP may from time to time cause your router to acquire a new public IP address. Typing "what is my IP" into a google search from a computer at the same place as the DVR can help you check that out.
