HD-SDI encoder for ACC6

Hi

 

has anyone used HD-SDI encoders with Avigilon Control Centre 6 or even 5.

 

ive had a search and come across this antrica ANT-35000A, the spec seems to fit the bill but only one channel

 

or this from TBS technology TBS2630 16 channel HD-SDI Video Encoder

 

got a site with around 40 existing cameras with 15 of them being PTZ

I highly doubt you would get anything more than an RTSP stream per channel out of other of those units but nice find anyway. I have tested the Hikvision 8 Channel TVI Encoder and I was able to get motion to work but there were studdering issues with the video.

That looks like SDI as I did not see TVI on that list.

For the HD-SDI encoders You have mentioned, You will only be able to get rtsp stream. The Euresys encoder is profile s conformant and will be able to connect to both ACC5 and 6, as there are no difference in conformance, but the stream you can only record continously.

I'll recommend the Dahua pentaplex DVR XVR5808/16/32S which Support HDCVI/AHD/TVI/CVBS/IP video inputs. We use them with the Avigilon Control Center and it work's well. Just be aware of the You will only be able to rename 3 out of all channels in ACC(Dahua are on to fix this issue) and also be aware of that You need as many ACC license as the recorder have channels. 8 channels=8 licenses.
