nessy 0 Posted June 16, 2017 Hi all, As we now have more and more cameras being installed at work, it's getting hard to keep track of where the cameras are located, which networks switch it is connected to and also which recorder it is connected to, plus details of each recorder (i.e. make, model, no# of days of footage, etc) so someone can see the whole overview of where the cameras are with the details. I do not need to know the focus length, lens, coverage, etc of each camera. I will need a software where: 1) I import the building floorplan & add cameras location to it 2) The software allows me to track of where the camera is plugged to where and to which recorder 3) It will need to be easy to use software, don't mind if it's freeware or paid for software 4) It will need to allow me to add details of each device/recorder I've been searching high & low and could not find any that meets my needs. Does one exists? Thanks.
nessy 0 Posted June 26, 2017 I'm assuming a software does not exist, based on the lack of reply here?
tomcctv 190 Posted June 26, 2017 Hi it's called e-map Which cameras and recorders are you using ?
nessy 0 Posted June 26, 2017 Thanks. We used various brands (i.e. Samsung, DVTel, Vista) and I'd like to have 'all in one' solution to see where these cameras are located, linked to which recorder. I don't need for it to connect to each camera to be viewed. Just some sort of database to keep track of where they are and the details attached to each camera.
