Time Zone Anomaly

Recommended Posts

Firstly, hello!

Over the last few months I've been installing various cameras where I live. I've encountered many problems but resolved all of them bar one.

I have;

4 Annke connected to NVR 1.

2 Sunba connected to NVR 2.

2 pinhole cameras that are standalone with FTP.

All 8 on the same LAN with WWW access.

Blue Iris monitoring all 8 (when my PC is on).

The issue that I cannot get to the bottom of is setting the correct time for the Annke and Sunba devices. The two standalone cameras have no problem and retrieve their system timing from the web. Everything else is the problem. If I set the Annke NVR to my region (UTC+00:00 London) it's an hour in the past. The same goes for the Sunba.

I've tried;

Adjusting the time zones on the back end and front end devices.

Manually changing the time (it reverts upon next log in).

Changing the DST settings.

My workaround is to tell the devices I'm in Berlin (UTC+01:00) so that it's running at the correct time after the -1 hour anomaly.

Note: my PC is on the same LAN and appropriate time zone but manages to adjust it's own system time correctly.

I'm sure it'll be something simple but it's defeated me.

GMT is not an option as the devices work in UTC.

Then you have a China system ... UTC time does not allow BST........ So you will always be an hour out.
