avtech TVI recorder slowed down after "security" update

hello,

i got an Avtech avt2165(eu) and i updated the firmware on it after i got told to do so from my seller.

and after that. everything got slowed down. including local use and remote view from the eagle eyes app. has anyone else encountered the same issues?
