Swann DVR reboot cycling

Hi, I have a Swann DVR9 1425 9 channel.

 

Just today the DVR has started to try to go into a reboot cycle. This is constant... tries to boot light & fan comes on for about 3 seconds then it goes off. it will continu to go through the same process.

 

Ive unplugged everything left it a good half hour. plugged power back in and exactly the same thing happens.

 

My guess is the hard drive has gone. can anybody confirm this?

 

If it has gone Can I just swapp the Harddrive or do I need to buy a DVR again?

Hi. Is this the maplins kit ???

 

To test the hard drive ......... Remove it from your recorder and see if it starts up without the problem.

 

It could also be the units power supply ...... To test power supply .... Use the one that powers your cameras to see if the unit stops booting
