subbarao 0 Posted July 11, 2017 Hi, We are developing a Embedded NVR. Wanted to see which is the best file system. We had a Chinese NVR with us. Just wanted to see which disk file system it is using. Ext4 is good, but not for such tasks. For large loads DVR,NVR, this is too slow. That's why the dahua has its own direct access system. This provides fast recording, reading, and also it is necessary to store a lot of additional index information describing the video data. In addition, the type of data storage is organized as a tape rewritable in a circle and you can not delete a specific segment (well, almost) for security.
