CCTV setup help for local network

Hi,

 

we have a local network with a Synology disk station manager 2.2 with suveillance station3

I want to start with cameras for outdoor and indoor

 

What I want:

1° I want to connect the cameras with the synology disk for recording

 

2° I want to load the live camera feed into a webpage

Can I use any IP camera and just open the IP address in any browser to load a livestream?

 

What camera type/brand you suggest for my purposes?

there are a lot of questions about your project. But first I need to tell you that your version of dsm and surveillance station outdated. The first thing you need to do is to update your System.

 

When we talk about system, which diskstation model do you use? Is important to know because there are a lot of models with different capabilities, like how much ip cameras they can handle. The synology surveillance system is license based. That means that for every camera you want to install you need a license from synology that cost money.

 

For the questions about the cameras you need to be more detailed what you want to cover.
