Need recommendation on DVR

Wife and I bought a house that had a camera system installed and the DVR didn't work and I am trying to find something good to hook up.

 

Sorry for the noob stuff

 

The house has 8 cameras and the coax from each runs into a box in the living room and then coax back out. I assume this is what powers all the cameras?

 

I am trying to find a DVR that we can access of the internet so maybe something with a built in web server that has Wi-Fi to connect to our network?

 

I am just not sure what brands are good.
