QTUM KDVR 1160 good enought for remote viewing on the DSL?

I have 12 camera (8 camera for viewing only, 4 camera for recording)

I don't know QTUM KDVR 1160 good enought for remote viewing on the DSL (512k upload)? Please, Advice me.

Do you happen to have the manual for the KDVR 1160 or know the default password/login for it? I am locked out of mine and don't know how to gain access to it again. thanks
