Loc-Mode 0 Posted August 17, 2017 Bought a samsungsv from sams it has 4 cameras. Hooked everything up myself and its working great. It's connected to my homes network so I can view it while I'm away. Checked it from my iphone when I went out to the store and everything it working good. Checked it at several places actually. Everything is fine. I'm now 5 states away on business and my phone fails to connect. I have a good signal where I'm at currently 3 bars on LTE. Does anyone know why I can't connect? GadgetAssistant 0 Posted August 18, 2017 Hello. Are you using the P2P ID on the Wiseview app or the DVR router's IP address.
Loc-Mode 0 Posted August 20, 2017 Using the p2p ID. It worked like this while I was at home and around my town. But I'm in St Louis now and it's saying cannot connect to device
GadgetAssistant 0 Posted August 20, 2017 Make sure that your phone has internet access when you use the app. Whenever possible, connect the phone to a wifi before trying to view the cameras on the app. Lastly, perhaps someone on your behalf at the DVR location can check and make sure that the both the router and DVR are working properly. I really don't understand, it was working for 3 weeks like a champ. And as soon as I leave it won't connect.
GadgetAssistant 0 Posted August 22, 2017 You got me, too. You might want to to contact Samsung support. They should be able to remotely check it out for you. I found this info for them on the web: Product & Technical Support Phone : 1-844-WISENET (844-947-3638) Email : cs@samsungsv.com (7 days a week, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm EST)
Loc-Mode 0 Posted August 22, 2017 Ok mystery is solved.. I basically had to uninstall the app and enter in the p2p id. And now it's working. Must have been a glitch or something.
