sgl 0 Posted September 7, 2017 Hello, I have 3 different models of cameras (CONHD-A1080P(HD-820), CONHD-A3MPB4(HD-825), CONHD-and C3MPB(HD-825). I was successful and able to upgrade the the C3MPB to HIKVision firmware 5.4.5_170123. The other cameras failed with "Upgrade failed." The C3MPB was on Swann 5.2.0 and I went HIKVision 5.4.1 -> 5.4.5_170123 The A3MPB4 are on Swann 5.0 and I tried flashing hikvsion 5.1.2 firmware The A1080P are on Swann 5.1.2 and I tried flashing hikvsion 5.1.2 firmware Is there a chance these are non hikvision cameras? I'm probably going to try opening one up and taking look.
BonniePrinceCharlie 0 Posted September 8, 2017 I have found that with these newer Hikvision firmware releases, that I had to flash several revisions to get the most current version. For example, 5.1 to 5.2 to 5.3 and then to 5.4 Otherwise I got the same errors that you did, this was for both Hikvision branded USA cameras and Lorex versions. tim36 0 Posted September 23, 2018 i have swann 7200 NVR and 6 swann HD-820CAM (DS-2CD2032) i would like to get new hikvision firmware on thoses cam to use intrusion and line crossing detection... does this will help to reduce false alarm at night with outside camera but on the european site the firmware are too recents (they seem to have removed the old firmware) .. mines are from 2013... so i need earlier version. to support line crossing and intrusion do i will also need to update the NVR ? i did a update from swann site because email (google) was not working and after this im not able to acess cam that are directly pluged in the nvr and set a plug and play ...
