DS-7608NI-E2/8P vs HiWatch IP NVR-208M-A/8P

Hi unbelievably there seems to more Hikvision products to choose from! The pace of change with Hikvision is relentless.

 

I am looking at purchasing a DS-7608NI-E2/8P but I am then advised that this product has been replaced with a newer model the HiWatch IP NVR -208M-A/8p.

 

Are these basically the same model?

 

Any advise on this please?

I will not say that it's the same model Hikvision release HiWatch and NVR-208M-A/8P is HiWatch series. DS-7608NI-E2/8P replaced with DS-7608NI-K2/8P which supports 4K. All Hikvision products are for CCTV Installer whereas HiWatch is for home and small business. As there is a price difference and quality difference as well but HiWatch products are much better than cheap cctv products.
