Problem between POE switch to Modem ?

Hi , Im a newby here , Im having a new problem between my poe switch to modem .

I have 2 Hikvision network camera s setup via a Tp link 4 port poe switch , this setup has been working great for like 10 months then for some reason it stopped working .

If I leave the POE switch plugged into my modem I loose network access and the modem lights flicker like crazy indercating to me there s a problem , unplug the poe switch I regain network status on the modem

I thought this was a faulty poe switch so I bough a new one and its doing the same .

Should I be looking at the modem now its not that old , TP Link N600

 

Any thoughts to this ?

One possibility is that since both your router and your PoE switch are TP-Link, and both generally try to use the same IP address of 192.168.0.1, there might be a conflict.
