Mitch619911 0 Posted October 31, 2017 I have had my PTZ camera for a good year and ran it on 2 systems (old and new) just fine. I just installed the new system and hooked up my PTZ camera, it's been working for a good month, but now it has stopped. Here is what I last did (I think it locked it up by doing this) I logged on to their cheap Chinese made website 'xmyeye' and went to the preset area, added a preset (90) and tried to save it and start a tour mode, right after I put in the preset it made my PTZ camera bring up like a menu then at that point it stopped working (video works, no PTZ controls), I bought a PTZ joystick and hooked it straight into the PTZ camera, still nothing. Heres a picture of what the system said after I hit the preset: I have tried to factory reset the DVR, this did nothing but I did notice the preset stayed the same, my PTZ camera does not have a factory reset button (or any button), I took the damn thing apart looking for one, found nothing but circuit boards...Also, I left it unplugged for tonight, gonna try to leave it like that for a day or two, maybe it will reset itself? tomcctv 190 Posted October 31, 2017 Hi. Not a good idea to try setup ptz from cloud. A preset is only a position of camera head..... but also 90 and above can also be a enter menu command to go into ptz. With you doing it over the web to server in China and then back to your system the command might of started a command you did not ask for. On your recorder menu do you have numbers as well as ptz controls .... try pressing 90 fast .... or 99 fast and see if ptz menu comes up Also what happends when you firsts power camera up

When starting up the PTZ (plugging in power) it spins around (doing its normal startup) and on the screen, it has the time-date/camera# and x1 (x1 I think is it's where it's zoom is) EDIT: speeds around > spins around
Mitch619911 0 Posted November 1, 2017 I opened the PTZ camera back up again and found that when I try to move the PTZ camera with the joystick, on the circuit board an LED flashes dimly!
