abdulelahshmaisani 0 Posted November 3, 2017 I have a dynix dvr that was not recording to a problem with hdd the system show a message says wait disk for repair such that I could not enter to the menu at all to do something like format the hdd of buck it so that I remove it from dvr and make a format on pc then I back it to dvr but the hdd not recognized and dvr disconnect and reboot a gain and again how do I solve such problem Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GadgetAssistant 0 Posted November 5, 2017 Hello. Making sure there is adequate power for both the DVR and HDD would be the best way to start. If you simply disconnect the HDD from the DVR and try to boot up the DVR without the HDD connected could rule out the DVR as an issue. Just be sure you put the cover back on the DVR before you try booting up with the HDD removed or disconnected. If the DVR is OK it should not reboot with the HDD disconnected.
