Looking for heated DVR box

Hi all

I am looking for a DVR lock box that is heated. Would be going in a warehouse that is not heated.

I live in Indiana and temperature sometimes get down to around 0 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter.

Have looked around but am not having much luck.

Hi. You might not need anything in the lock box as you also have to take into account of the natural heat generated by the recorder.

 

But if you do need a little heat you need it to be controlled or you will fry hard drive.

 

The easy way is a cool and heat kit .... also known as camera housing heater and very cheap to buy

It will generate plenty of heat on it's own. I would be more concerned about summer. I hard drive's life is significantly reduced if it is exposed to temps above 90 degrees.

 

There is a reason why data centers are kept so cold.
