8MP camera from Hikvision

Hi there!

 

I am thinking of adding the DS-2CD2185FWD-I to my collection.

Now I see that on the site of Hikvision they do not talk about any microphone/audio functions.

Some sellers on ebay sell it without audio, some sell it with audio.

You can actually see different cables coming from the camera, so it is not just a matter of bad copy/pasting information

 

Is this normal for Hikvision? To sell a product in different subversions?

Or is one maybe for the chinese market or one for the european?

 

Any tips or information is greatly appreciated.

DS-2CD2185FWD-I would not have alarm/audio input/outputs; while DS-2CD2185FWD-IS would!

(the -S at the end makes the difference)
