voloftn 0 Posted July 23, 2006 I have completed building my system and everything seems to be smooth thus far. I have a few questions about Geovision's startup procedure though. I don't have cameras installed yet to test some of these questions (the eletrician is installing them and running cable on Tuesday). -I assume that Geovision starts the recording process and starts the Geovision services before the login to Windows. Or should I allow Windows to proceed to the desktop? -Is there a a more in depth description to the Geovision modules available? The manual isn't exactly descriptive. Here's how I think it runs: Main GV App: Monitors and displays live feed Video Log: Allows for the server playback of archived video WebCam: Allows for Remote viewing via a web browser Remote View: Allows for remote version of Video Log application I have no idea what the TCP server does. There isn't a valid description anywhere to be found or settings. Thanks for any help. Todd
Bob 0 Posted July 23, 2006 I think GV starts when the "mulitcam auto start" item in the startup menu is run. I am new to this also so I could be wrong. I would have windows start and then lock.
